It appeals with its pleasant aromatic profile and freshness, recalling the conviviality of a classic sparkling wine during aperitifs or celebrations. Some tasters note, however, that the taste can turn out to be a bit too sweet compared to a real brut sparkling wine, which may not suit lovers of drier drinks. ## Strengths - **Festive alternative** — This Chardonnay offers a convincing and convivial option to replace traditional champagne or sparkling wine during events. - **Aromatic profile** — The drink features fruity flavors and an appreciable freshness that appeal to lovers of bubbles. ## Weaknesses - **Pronounced sweetness** — The mouthfeel is perceived by some as slightly too sweet compared to a classic sparkling wine. ## Frequently asked questions - Is this drink very sweet? - Is it suitable to replace champagne as an aperitif? - What is the grape variety used? - Are the bubbles fine and persistent? ## Top reviews ### 5.0/5 · Sophie TACUSSEL · January 2, 2026 Très bon --- _Source: OpenReviews — https://openreviews.io/en/reviews/pierrechavin/chavin-zero-chardonnay-effervescent-boisson-sans-alcool-75cl-3663852011821_
